Hollyoaks
Emma was a commissioned writer for Channel 4’s iconic continuing drama series between 2023 and 2025, writing seven episodes and contributing to storylines at conferences. She also appeared as a guest actor in her episode (12/05/25) as Eve, the call operator on the LGBTQ crisis helpline.

In May 2025, Emma wrote a special episode of Hollyoaks which aired during Mental Health Awareness Week. The episode followed a crisis for Ro, a trans teenager (played by Ava Webster) who was considering suicide. This short film discusses the importance of Hollyoaks telling such a powerful storyline and showing solidarity with the trans community, as well as detailing helpline resources that anyone can access.
